My Humblest Apologies-

First of all I wanted to say that I am disappointed in myself for the lack of writing that I have been doing lately. But to be brutally honest, I just have not had the motivation to do any writing lately. I have really been in a funk as far as writing goes. I was trying to look back and reflect on it. I think it has been a combination of things that have contributed to this.

I have been sort of busy lately. I went to Las Vegas for a week. Now normally that is an excuse to write. I was there with two great friends for four days so there should be plenty of stories that come out of a trip like that. For example, I got a tattoo at Hart & Huntington. That’s a column in itself. It was quite the experience for a first timer. But I haven’t taken the time to sit and write about it.

I was back in Cleveland for a week and St Patrick’s Day weekend happened. I had a fantastic weekend. I stayed downtown in my hotel room and drank on Friday and Saturday nights until 1 or 2 in the morning. Think that nothing happened that would not be good reading material? Again I need to get a cracking and put that into words.

A month ago I finally went out and got myself a new car. I was going to take a couple of pictures and post them. Nah…too busy! Again, I am disappointed in my laziness over the last month.

My new job has been somewhat entertaining lately. One thing that I know to be true is that I used to take some of my precious Uncle Sherman time and write a few paragraphs while I should have been doing something that was more productive. Lately, I have been more productive due to the fact that I am in a new position at work and it probably would not be in my best interest to sit at my desk and write blogs all day. Maybe in the future I can work more of that in my schedule but as for now I am trying to do my job for a change.

So with that I will make a conscious effort to write two or three posts a week to keep the fine following of people that visit on a regular basis.
